Në Bjellorusi, me dhjetëra punonjës televizivë, që nga gazetarët e lajmeve e deri tek teknikët e studiove, kanë dhënë dorëheqjen nga mediat shtetërore. Presidenti bjellorus, Aleksandër Lukashenko, tha se personat në fjalë janë zëvendësuar menjëherë nga punonjës mediatikë rusë.
”I kërkova Rusisë të më japë disa gazetarë hua, për të mbuluar punën e presidentit e për të dhënë shembull sesi bëhet puna e mirë. I njoh këta njerëz”.
Rreth 17 gazetarë dhanë dorëheqjen dhe shfaqën pamjet e një studioje bosh në edicionin e lajmeve, ndërkohë që shumë të tjerë janë duke dhënë dorëheqjen.
Ditën e sotme u mblodhën me mijëra manifestues në MInsk, të cilët protestojnë kundër regjimit të presidentit Lukashenko, i cili e ka mbajtur pushtetin që nga viti 1994.
